I have never fitted a curtain. Is it difficult?
Not at all. The Kriska-Kit® curtain comes with all hooks and plugs to make fitting easier. Only a drill is needed to make the holes. After making the holes, fit the plugs and then the hooks, making sure they are properly screwed in. Take the curtain from the box and place the frame on the hooks. When the curtain is fitted it should not touch the floor. There should be a distance of 2cm between the floor and the curtain.



How is curtain size determined?
The exterior measurement of the door or place where it is to be installed should be taken. Length should be determined by taking into consideration that the curtain should not touch the floor. There should be a distance of 2-3 cm between the bottom of the curtain and the floor.



Is it washable?
Both anodised aluminium and plastic curtains may be washed. Neutral detergents must be used.



Can I order a special design?
Kriska® chain's great versatility means almost any design imaginable can be made. Send us your design by e-mail or by ordinary mail with the curtain sizes and we will prepare an estimate for you.



Does the colour fade with time?
The special anodising used on the Kriska® chain keeps its colour with a tone and shine that withstand the passage of time.

How much chain is needed to fit a 0.90 x 2.10m Kriska curtain?
147 metres of Kriska® chain are needed to fit a curtain. This chain may be obtained with:
- 3 bags each containing 50 metres of Kriska® chain
- 6 cases of Kriska® chain a 0.90 metre PCA®-78 frame is also needed



What types of anodised aluminium curtains are available for purchase??
There are different types of curtain available:

       KRISKA KIT®: Curtains that are ready to hang.
       KRISKA STRIPS®: The box contains the necessary strips in the design colours. By simply hanging the strips in the holes of a 0.90 metre PCA®-78 frame, the curtain in the drawing on the box can be fitted, with measurements of 0.90 x 2.10m.
      COMBINED KRISKA®: These are curtains are ready to hang and have different designs with borders, diamond-shapes...
      BRICO KIT: A box of 3 bags each containing 50 metres of chain and a 0.90 metre frame to fit yourself. A 0.90 x 2.10 m curtain may be fitted with the chain from the bags.
      KRISKA® CHAIN BY THE METRE: With bags of 50 metres of chain and a PCA®-78 frame, you may fit your own made-to-measure curtain with the design of your choice.



Which bar goes best with the Kriska chain?
The ideal frame for the Kriska ® chain is the anodised aluminium PCA ® -78 frame as this is specially designed for this chain. It is very strong thanks to its special profile and the spacing is the most suitable for the mesh size.

How many Kriska® curtains may be placed in a display?
Special displays allow for a maximum of 24 boxes of Kriska® curtains or plastic curtains, or 36 boxes of Brico Kit or Kriska® Strips to be stored in a compact space 0.68m deep, 0.97m wide and 2.24m high.



How much chain is there in a box of Kriska® chain?
A box of Kriska ® chain holds 600 metres, in 12 bags of 50 metres each.
There are 14,400 metres, 24 boxes of 600 metres on a full pallet.



How are Kriska®-TIRAS assembled?
The Kriska®-Strips system is based on the fact that the design of the curtain, the most complicated step, has already been done. Simply hang the strips on a frame 0.90m in length.

Other sizes may be made by adding chain of the background colour to the curtain until the required size has been obtained.



What aluminium curtain designs are available?
There is a wide range of designs with different design motifs: Floral, Art Nouveau, borders....
Standard designs measure 0.90 x 2.10 metres.
